8 cups
Blackberry1.5 cups
All-Purpose Flour2 tbsps
Ground Cinnamon1 cup
Sugar1 tbsp
Baking Powder1
Salt1.5 stick
Butter1
Egg1 cup
Heavy Cream1 tsp

Preheat oven 350 degrees F

Combine the blackberries, flour, cinnamon, sugar and burbon in pot and heat over low heat

Allow the sugar to dissolve and the syrup to form

Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a boil

Then reduce the heat and allow it to cook until tender

Remove the mixture and set aside and keep warm

Mix all batter ingredients together in a large mixing bowl

Pour batter over berries and return to the center of the oven and bake for 1 hour or until brown on top
