Ingredients:
1 cup
Butter (softened)1 cup
Shortening1 cup
Brown Sugar (packed)3 cup
White Sugar2
Eggs2.5 cups
All-Purpose Flour1 tsp
Baking Soda1 tsp
Salt1 tsp
Ground Cinnamon1 cup
Water2.5 cups
Quick Cooking Oats1 cup
Walnut (finely chopped)1 tsp
Almond Extract1 cup

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C)

Cream butter and shortening with sugars

Beat in eggs

In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt, nuts and cinnamon

Add to butter mixture alternately with water

Stir in oats and almond extract

Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheets

Make a small indentation in each cookie
