White Sugar1 cup
Shortening2
Eggs1 tsp
Vanilla Extract1 cup
Rolled Oat1 cup
Raisin1.75 cups
All-Purpose Flour1 tsp
Baking Soda1 tsp
Salt1 tsp
Ground CinnamonDirections:

Cream sugar, shortening (may substitute 1/2 cup butter or margarine), eggs and vanilla thoroughly

Mix in remaining ingredients

Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours or overnight

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)

Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls
