5 cups
Water1.5 cups
White Wine (dry)1 tsp
Ground Cloves1 tbsp
Whole Black Peppercorns1 tbsp

Bay Leaf1 large
Onion (quartered)1.5 tbsps
Wine Vinegar (white-)1 tbsp
Lemon Juice (fresh)1 tbsp
Lime Juice (fresh)1 cup
Extra-Virgin Olive OilDirections:

In an 8-quart kettle bring water and wine to a boil with lemon, lime, cloves, peppercorns, salt, bay leaf, chilies, and onion and boil 5 minutes

Add shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, until just cooked through, about 3 minutes

Drain shrimp in a colander and cool 5 minutes
