Directions:

Position rack about 6 inches from the broiler and preheat broiler

With a small knife, cut a slit about 2 inches long in the side of both pitas

With your fingers, pry apart the 2 pita halves

If the pita is being stubborn, microwave it for about 30 seconds to soften it up

Lightly brush the rough side of the 4 pita halves with olive oil and then rub with the garlic clove

Cut each pita into quarters

Arrange the pitas in a single layer on a cookie sheet

Evenly sprinkle the pitas with the Parmesan, salt, paprika, and oregano

Place under the broiler and broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown
